Barry's Mission Statement
This is me holding the 2010 ceremonial check that the Pan Massachusetts Challenge presented to the
Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston at check presentation ceremonies held on November 12, 2010 at Fenway Park in Boston.
My mission for my cross country ride is to bring more awareness to the work that the researchers, physicians and the other health care professionals at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA are doing in the fight against cancer and the work that the riders, volunteers and sponsors of the Pan Massachusetts Challenge are doing in raising money for the Dana Farber through its' fund raising arm, the Jimmy Fund.
Through this awareness, I will encourage those whom I may meet along my route to make a donation to the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber to help me with my fund raising commitment for my participation in the 2011 PMC and help make a cure for cancer become "Closer by the Mile"
