Day 7
After a days rest in Clarkston, WA, I start to get into the meat of the Rocky Mountains as I head towards Kooskia, ID. I'll be staying at the Harpsters RV and Campground in ooskia. Today's ride, 75 miles.

Day 8
The mountain roads will get steeper and longer. There are no more towns, just camp grounds along Rt 12 that follows along the Lewis and Clark Trail. I'll be staying at the Jerry Johnson Campground in Powell, ID, a very popular camp ground for bicyclists. Today's ride is 76 miles long. Tomorrow will be the toughest day so far, Lolo Pass

Day 9
Hopefully an early start will enable me to take my time and still get into Missoula, Montana as I crest over Lolo Pass at 5, 240 feet, just shy of one mile. Today, 67 miles before my next day of rest.
